Standard Terms and Conditions of Just Edu Managed Education Service for Secondary Students

제1조 목적 | Article 1 Purpose

본 약관은 캐나다 등록법인 Herald Education Vancouver Inc.가 운영하는 고품격 유학서비스인 저스트에듀(이하 “저스트에듀”라 합니다)가 제공하는 중고등 관리형 유학서비스를 의뢰한 고객(이하 “고객”이라 합니다)간의 권리와 의무를 규정하고 서비스 제공의 범위를 명확히 설명하는 것을 목적으로 합니다.

The purpose of these terms and conditions is to regulate the rights and obligations between customers (hereinafter referred to as "Customers") who commission the secondary education managed study abroad service provided by Just Edu (hereinafter referred to as "Just Edu"), a high-quality study abroad service operated by the Canadian registered corporation Herald Education Vancouver Inc., and to clearly explain the scope of service provision.

제2조 서비스 제공 종류 및 선택 | Article 2 Types of Service Provision and Selection

고객은 저스트에듀가 제공하는 다음의 서비스의 전부 또는 일부를 선택하여 제공받을 수 있습니다.

Customers may select some or all of the following services provided by Just Edu:

(1) 유학수속대행: 저스트에듀는 각급 학교의 등록 수속과 입학 절차의 진행을 위하여 행정적 사무적 업무를 지원하며 대행합니다. 여기에는 캐나다에서 학업을 위하여 요구되는 비자 등의 취득을 위한 사항도 포함됩니다.

Agent Service for Enrolment: Just Edu supports and acts as an agent for administrative and clerical tasks for enrollment procedures and admission processes at various schools, including matters related to obtaining visas required for studying in Canada.

(2) 생활밀착 가디언: 저스트에듀는 19세 이하의 미성년 자녀 또는 희망하는 성인에 대하여 학교생활과 일상생활에 관한 모니터링과 함께 필요한 도움을 제공합니다. 무엇보다 각종 응급/위급 상황에 대한 즉각적 대응을 지원하게 되며, 다음의 서비스가 포함됩니다.

Close Monitoring Guardian: Just Edu provides monitoring and necessary assistance for school life and daily life for minors under 19 or aspiring adults, including immediate response support for various emergencies, including but not limited to:

- 홈스테이 배정 및 생활관리 Homestay placement and management

- 공항 마중 및 배웅 서비스 Airport pick-up and drop-off services

- 학교 및 선생님과의 소통(출결관리, 성적관리, 각종 학교행사 관련) Communication with schools and teachers (attendance management, grade management, various school event-related)

- 부모서명 대리Authorization of Parental Signing

- 금융거래 지원(은행계좌 개설, 홈스테이비, 용돈 및 각종 비용 등의 외환업무) Financial transaction support (opening bank accounts, homestay fees, foreign exchange transactions for allowances and various expenses)

- 멘토링 및 정기적 미팅(월 1회 이상) Mentoring and regular meetings (at least once a month)

(3) 아카데믹 학업 관리: 저스트에듀는 학교 수강신청을 위한 코스플레닝, 희망 진로에 대비한 컨설팅에 기반으로 학업 관리를 위하여 직영 학원과 소속 교사들에 의한 BC주 커리큘럼에 해당하는 아카데믹 주요과목(영어, 수학, 과학, 사회)과 영어 어학능력(ESL, IELTS 등)을 다양한 교습을 포괄적으로 제공합니다.

Academic Study Management: Based on course planning for school enrollment and career consulting for desired career paths, Just Edu provides comprehensive instruction in academic core subjects (English, math, science, social studies) and English language proficiency (ESL, IELTS, etc.) corresponding to the BC curriculum through directly operated academies and affiliated teachers.

- 영어어학 능력 학습(ESL, IELTS, SAT 등) English language proficiency learning (ESL, IELTS, SAT, etc.)

- 주요 교과목 애프터스쿨 관리(과제, 프로젝트, 시험대비) After-school management of core subjects (assignments, projects, exam preparation)

- 방학 특강 및 캠프 프로그램 Special courses and camp programs (Spring Break, Summer Camp, Winter Break)

- 봉사활동, 커리어 활동 지원 Volunteer activities, career developing support

- 정기적 스포츠, 레크레이션(필드트립, 체험학습, 각종 실내외 스포츠, 여행, 견학) Regular sports, recreation (field trips, experiential learning, various indoor and outdoor sports, travel, tours)

(4) 현지정착 및 생활관리(성인): 저스트에듀는 미성년 자녀와 동반 또는 미동반으로 캐나다에 유학/취업을 위하여 입국하는 성인 고객을 위하여, 부동산 임차계약, 차량 및 가구 등의 생활필수품 구매, 어학교육 및 각종 생활안내를 위한 다음의 서비스를 제공합니다.

Local Settlement and Living Management (Adults): For adult customers immigrating to Canada for study or employment, either accompanied by minors or unaccompanied, Just Edu provides the following services for essential living necessities such as real estate lease contracts, purchase of vehicles and furniture, and guidance on language education and various aspects of daily life:

- 임시 숙소 안내 또는 부동산 임대차계약 지원 Guidance and assistance for real estate leasing contracts or booking for temporary accommodation

- 공항마중 및 입국수속 정보제공 Airport pick-up and immigration procedure orientation

- 첫날 장보기, 차량구입, 가구 등의 구입 도움 제공 Assistance with initial shopping, vehicle purchases, furniture purchases, etc.

- 은행계좌 개설, 신용카드 가입, 인터넷 및 전화 개설, 전기 개통, 보험가입 등의 도움 Assistance with opening bank accounts, applying for credit cards, setting up internet and telephone services, opening electricity accounts, obtaining insurance, etc.

- 각종 영사업무, 현지 신분증 교환 및 신청 등 행정사무 지원 Administrative support for various consular matters, local identification card exchange and application, etc.

- 생활영어, 현지 각종 생활가이드를 위한 무료 수업제공 Free classes for practical English and various local life guides

제3조 서비스 비용 | Article 3 Service Fees

(1) 유학수속 대행 Agent Service for Enrolment: CAD $2,000

(2) 생활밀착 가디언 Close Monitoring Guardian: CAD $8,000 / Annually

(3) 아카데믹 학업관리 Academic Study Management: CAD $23,000 / Annually

(4) 현지정착 서비스 Local Settlement Service: CAD $3,000

제4조 홈스테이 | Article 4 Homestay

(1) 홈스테이는 학생 및 부모님의 희망에 따라 현지인 가정 또는 한인 가정에 배정됩니다.
Homestays are assigned to local families or Korean families according to the preferences of students and parents.

(2) 홈스테이 비용은 여러가지 조건에 따라 월 CAD $1,500 ~ CAD $3,000 정도로 다양하며, 부모님과의 협의에 따라 결정하게 됩니다.
Homestay fees vary depending on various conditions, ranging from approximately CAD $1,500 to CAD $3,000 per month, and are determined in consultation with the parents.

(3) 홈스테이에서는 학교 통학을 위한 전부 또는 일부의 차량 라이드가 포함될 수 있습니다.
Homestays could include full or partial transportation rides for school commuting by additional cost.

(4) 15일 이상 1개월 미만의 부재시는 해당 기간 동안의 홈스테이 비용의 50%을 감액 받을 수 있습니다. 다만, 홈스테이 가정이 동의하지 않는 경우에는 모든 비용을 납부하여야 합니다.
If away for more than 15 days but less than one month, 50% of the homestay fees for that period may be reduced. However, if the homestay family does not agree, all costs must be paid.

(5) 1개월 이상의 부재시에는 이후 복귀를 보장하기 위하여 해당 기간 동안 일정의 짐 보관료를 지불해야할 수 있습니다.
For absences of one month or more, storage fees for belongings during that period may be required to guarantee return thereafter.

(6) 홈스테이는 최소 1개월의 보증금을 요구할 수 있습니다.
A minimum deposit of one month's rent may be required for homestays.

(7) 홈스테이는 상호 당사자간 1개월의 노티스를 준 경우 누구든 계약을 해지할 수 있습니다. 다만, 1개월 미만의 노티스를 주거나, 노티스 없이 홈스테이 계약을 파기하는 경우 보증금을 돌려받을 수 없으며, 보증금이 없는 경우 1개월의 비용을 추가로 지불해야 할 수 있습니다.
Either party may terminate the contract with one month's notice. However, if less than one month's notice is given or the homestay contract is terminated without notice, the deposit may not be refunded, and if there is no deposit, an additional one month's fee may be required.

(8) 홈스테이에서는 학생으로서 허용되지 않는 행동(음주, 흡연, 이성 친구 초대, 무단 외박 등)을 하거나 무례한 언행을 하게 될 경우 사전 노티스 없이 퇴거 될 수 있습니다. 이 경우 발생되는 각종 비용은 부모님이 추가로 부담해야 합니다.
Students may be expelled from homestays without prior notice for behaviors not allowed for students (such as drinking, smoking, inviting friends of the opposite sex, unauthorized overnight stays) or for rude behavior. In such cases, parents are responsible for additional costs incurred.

(9) 홈스테이 비용은 선납이 원칙이며, 통상적으로 3개월치를 저스트에듀에 사전에 예치하도록 하고 있습니다.

Homestay fees are usually paid in advance, with Just Edu typically requiring a deposit of three months' worth.

(10) 홈스테이 관련 분쟁 시 저스트 에듀는 학생의 입장에서 대변하고, 해결방법을 찾습니다.

In case of disputes related to homestays, Just Edu represents the student's position and seeks resolution.

제5조 통학, 현지 교통이용, 귀가시간 등 | Article 5 Commuting, Local Transportation, Return Time, etc.

(1) 학교 통학은 홈스테이에서 기본적으로 제공하지 않는 한 대중교통을 이용하게 됩니다.
School commuting usually utilizes public transportation unless provided by the homestay.

(2) 학원 통학은 특별한 사유가 없는 한 대중교통을 이용합니다. 다만, 늦은 심야의 귀가, 특별활동에 있어서는 학원에서 일부 라이드를 제공할 수 있습니다.

Academy commuting typically uses public transportation unless there are special reasons. However, for late-night returns or special activities, the academy may provide partial rides.

(3) 학생들은 버스, 스카이 트레인 등을 이용할 수 있는 컴패스 교통카드를 구입하여 이용하며, 비상 상황에 대비해서 Uber 등의 안전한 차량공유서비스의 계정을 등록하도록 하고 있습니다.

Students purchase Compass cards for bus, SkyTrain, etc., and are advised to register accounts for safe vehicle-sharing services like Uber for emergencies.

(4) 학생들은 저스트에듀 또는 홈스테이가 지정한 귀가시간을 반드시 준수하여야 하며, 늦은 귀가, 외박 등의 사유가 있는 경우 가디언에게 반드시 사전에 동의를 받아야 합니다. 사전에 부모님이 동의한 경우에도 가디언의 동의가 필요합니다.

Students must strictly adhere to the return time set by Just Edu or the homestay, and must obtain prior consent from the guardian for late returns, overnight stays, etc. Even with parental consent, guardian consent is required.

제6조 계약의 성립 | Article 6 Effective date and commencing of Contract

(1) 저스트에듀는 본 약관과 함께 학생별 맞춤 서비스에 대한 포트폴리오를 제공하며, 해당 서비스의 인보이스를 함께 청구합니다.
Just Edu provides a customized portfolio for each student along with these terms and conditions and invoices for the services provided.

(2) 고객은 저스트에듀가 본조 제1항에서 제시한 각 서류에 대하여 필요하다고 판단되는 경우 수정 의견을 제시할 수 있으며, 저스트에듀는 고객의 의견을 반영하여 재송부하여야 합니다.
Customers may propose modifications to the documents provided by Just Edu if deemed necessary, and Just Edu must reissue them reflecting the customer's opinions.

(3) 고객은 저스트에듀가 청구한 인보이스 금액의 일부 또는 전부를 지불함으로서, 계약 사항에 대하여 동의함을 표하며, 계약이 성립됩니다.

By paying all or part of the invoiced amount by Just Edu, the customer agrees to the contract terms, and the contract is concluded.

(4) 특별한 언급이 없는 한 계약은 1년 단위로 진행되며, 계속하여 연장되는 것으로 간주합니다.
Unless otherwise specified, contracts are renewed annually.

제7조 계약의 해지 및 환불규정 | Article 7 Termination and Refund Regulations

(1) 고객은 본인의 의사에 따라 언제든지 저스트에듀와의 계약 해지를 요청할 수 있습니다. 다만, 계약의 해는 반드시 서면 또는 전자우편을 통해 통보되어야 합니다.
Customers may request termination of the contract with Just Edu at any time according to their own will. However, notice of termination must be given in writing or via email.

(2) 계약금(등록비)은 어떠한 경우에도 환불되지 않습니다. Initial Application fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.

(3) 학비 및 교육기관 등의 수업료는 해당 기관의 환불규정과 조건에 따릅니다.
Tuition and fees for educational institutions are subject to the refund regulations and conditions of the respective institutions.

(4) 가디언 서비스, 컨설팅서비스 비용은 캐나다 교육기관 표준 환불규정에 준하여, 서비스 개시이전 해지시 10%를 차감, 서비스 개시 이후 계약기간의 10% 미만 진행 시 30%를 차감하고, 서비스 기간의 10%이상 30%미만 경과 시점에서는 50% 차감한 나머지 금액을 환불하며, 서비스 기간의 30% 이상 진행된 경우에는 환불되는 금액이 없습니다. 다만, 저스트에듀가 고객의 의사에 반하여 본 계약의 해지를 요청할 경우에는 일할 계산하여 잔액을 환불합니다.
Guardian service and consulting service fees are subject to the standard refund regulations of Canadian educational institutions. Before the start of service, 10% will be deducted upon termination, 30% will be deducted for termination before less than 10% of the contracted period has elapsed, and 50% will be deducted for termination after more than 10% but less than 30% of the contracted period has elapsed. No refund will be issued if more than 30% of the service period has elapsed. However, if Just Edu requests termination of the contract against the customer's wishes, the remaining balance will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

(5) 홈스테이 비용은 본 약관 제4조의 규정에 따라 미지불 잔액이 있는 경우 전액 환불됩니다.
In cases of unpaid balances as per the regulations of Article 4 of these terms, homestay fees will be refunded in full.

(6) 학생의 교칙위반 등에 의한 퇴학처분, 불법적 행위 등에 의한 형사상 처벌 또는 국외 추방과 같은 사유로 불가피하게 서비스가 중단되는 경우에는 환불되지 않습니다.
No refund will be issued in cases where services are discontinued due to student disciplinary violations, criminal prosecuted by illegal acts, or deportation.

제8조 분쟁의 해결 및 관할법원 | Article 8 Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

(1) 저스트에듀와 고객의 상호간에 서비스는 신의성실원칙에 따라 적법하게 유지되어야 합니다.
Services between Just Edu and customers must be maintained in accordance with the principles of good faith.

(2) 상호간에 어떠한 불만이 발생한 경우에는 즉시 상대방에게 사실을 인지시켜야 합니다.
In the event of any complaints between the parties, the facts must be immediately communicated to the other party.

(3) 상대방의 불만을 인지한 경우 적극적으로 불만사항을 해지하기 위하여 노력하여야 합니다.
Upon recognizing the other party's complaints, efforts must be made to actively resolve the complaints.

(4) 불가피하게 법원의 판단을 필요로 하는 경우에는 캐나다 브리티시콜럼비아주(BC주)의 법률과 관할 법원에 의한 판단을 받아야 합니다.
In cases where court judgment is unavoidable, judgment must be sought in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada, and by the jurisdictional courts thereof.
